What Quakers Believe: Easy Essays

Patrick Nugent, principal at Friends Theological College in Kaimosi, Kenya, is writing a series of pamphlets on Quaker theology. Each of these will appear first in draft form on a new Web-log, quaker-easy-essays.blogspot.com. They are intended for an African audience, but Friends elsewhere may also enjoy them.

The point of these essays is to explain traditional Quaker theology and practice, using biblical arguments and plain language. The Quakerism they describe is the Quakerism of early Friends, re-presented and re-argued for modern Friends. Please enjoy these essays, and respond freely.
