July 1998
In His Coming
From a snow covered mountain lake
to the edge of a jungle trail
Christ is present midst those
who call on him by name,
who feed on his love,
who find in his words
a nourishment of daily bread.
Jesus said to be humble,
to let the stars have the glory,
to look beyond time
when the storm clouds gather,
to know that peace is found
in the blending of two hearts.
Christ, the eternal shepherd,
searches for his lost sheep
while thunder rolls across a dark sky
and lightning flashes speak of renewed hope.
