Weekly Devotional and Prayer requests from FUM Urgent Prayer Request Kenya held its parliamentary, Civic and Presidential elections on December 27, 2007. The elections were conducted in a very peaceful atmosphere and many Kenyans came out to vote for their preferred candidates. Results were announced December 30 and many flaws in the election process were not addressed. All this time the opposition candidates had been leading and it was clear who the president was going to be. The chairman of the Electoral Commission of Kenya was forced by the government to announce the incumbent president as the winner in a private place and minutes later he was hurriedly sworn in in a private function. The country Kenya is now in chaos and many people are dying and properties destroyed as a reaction to the announcement of the results. We are appealing for prayers that calmness may come to our country. Pray that peace and unity may prevail in our country. Pray that we are all safe wherever we are. Pray for Kenya!! Pray for Kenya!!! God bless,
